The Centro de Imagem Zona Centro was the first center to join our group outside of Oporto. It started in February 2019, between the partnership between Centro de Imagem Montenegro and the Hospital Veterinário de Aveiro. This partnership emerges naturally after many years of working together in advanced imagiology. This was we created the opportunity to provide a higher mean of advanced imagiology diagnostics in the center region of the country. Therefore we began the concept of starting CT scan exams in the Hospital Veterinário de Aveiro facility, with a team that was formed and supported by the resident team in Oporto that does the reading and interpretation of the exams as soon as they are done in the Centro de Imagem Montenegro Zona Norte in Oporto.
This way we wanted to bring to the center region of the country the possibility of advanced imagiology diagnostics in animals, offering the knowledge of years of exams from the Centro de Imagem Montenegro in collaboration with a very enthusiastic team, overcoming barriers in order to provide a new and excelency service.
